Black Youth with Stethoscopes Youth Summit
Youth ages 12 – 18
Do you want to go into medicine? Do you want to be a doctor, dentist, nurse, physician assistant, or advanced practice nurse?
At the Black Youth with Stethoscopes Youth Summit, you will:
- Meet and hear from Black healthcare professionals
- Engage in hands-on activities using the actual tools of healthcare
- Receive a booklet filled with information about healthcare career
Creating access
We want to connect youth to high quality work-based learning opportunities, and to create access to a network of Black healthcare professionals. Our mission is to increase the participation of Black men and women in medicine. In order to do this, we will:
- Cultivate interest
- Provide opportunities to grow and develop skills
- Develop and deepen networks of support
