About Inspire Arts
For many of the patients, families, and employees at Hennepin Healthcare, art has provided a powerful sense of wonder, joy, and comfort. Our healing arts program Inspire Arts brings the power of the arts directly to the Hennepin Healthcare community, helping to humanize the healthcare experience, building personal resources and coping skills, and helping patients use less pain medication and heal faster.
Inspire Arts oversees the Artist in Residence and Music Therapy programs.
Inspire Arts provides much-needed hope and comfort for patients and families throughout our hospital and clinics. A sterile environment becomes joyful and welcoming. Talents are uncovered and diverse voices are heard. Most importantly, stress is released.

$25 provides a patient with a one-on-one healing art experience with an Artist in Residence.
$50 provides a day of art supplies for hospitalized patients and families.
$90 provides music therapy for three patients and their families.
$150 provides an hour of soothing musical performance in a main area of the medical center.
$1,000 provides original artwork in a patient room to inspire hope and healing.
$1,500 provides an exhibit for one month of joyful, inspiring artwork for thousands of viewers.
