50 years of welcoming babies into the world one-push-at-a-time. So much history. So many moments and photographs. Congrats on such a remarkable milestone. Here's to the next 50!!!!!!!!

Congratulations on 50 years! I had the honor of working alongside the midwives for almost 15 years and feel lucky to have been a part of so many births. I had my three boys on the midwife unit with the help of Ann Rabie CNM and Judy Broad RN. I’m now working in the clinic with the midwives and I am so proud of their commitment to providing the best care around!

What an honor it is to celebrate the history of the first Nurse Midwife service in Minnesota! As a new midwife working in the Twin Cities, I knew that my ultimate goal was to be an HCMC Midwife. That goal became a reality in 2013 and now I am humbled to head this group as Service Director. This team is like no other, I am certain of that. The experience, skill, dedication, and heart exhibited by this group of midwives is so special. So excited to celebrate!

Natalie Jacobson-Dunlop, CNM

My mother gave birth to me at HCMC with Claire Nelson, CNM in the 1970's. My parents loved their birth experience and have many fond memories including sleeping in a double bed with me the night I was born. Their beautiful experience, in part, led me to choose midwifery as a career. I was thrilled to meet Claire for the first time (well, second time) just this last year. Fifty years, what an incredible legacy! Congratulations!
