MyChart offers you personalized and safe online access to parts of your health records. It lets you safely use the Internet to get facts about your health. With MyChart, you can:

  • Ask for health appointments.
  • View your health summary.
  • View test results.
  • Ask for prescription renewals.
  • Communicate online and safely with your health care team.

MyChart is free to our patients.

You can sign up during your visit or get a MyChart code after your visit. This code will let you log in and make your own user ID and password. If you were not given a code, you can:

  • Call your clinic to get one.
  • Ask to sign up during your next visit.

Your results are released to your MyChart account after your doctor has reviewed them. This is about 1-7 days.

Your doctor decides which results you can see in MyChart. Also, tests that are very personal may not be released in MyChart.

Your MyChart record comes from your electronic health record at your doctor's office. Ask your doctor to fix anything wrong at your next visit. Your health record is reviewed and fixed each visit.

You will get an answer within 1-2 work days. Please know that MyChart should not be used for urgent problems. Please call your health center if the problem needs quick attention. Dial 911 if it is an emergency.

Yes, this is called proxy access. It lets a parent, guardian or legal representative log into their MyChart account and connect to information about their proxy member. Please talk to your doctor during your next visit for more information.

No. MyChart offers direct access to your health record. Communicating about someone's record would be placed in your health record. Information about someone else in your health record is not safe. Your account is about your health only.

No. Due to personal health records, each adult must sign and send a request to make their own MyChart account.

Log into MyChart. From the left menu, go to the “Preferences”. Select what you want to change.

We take great care to have your health record kept private and safe. Viewing of records is controlled through codes, ID's, and passwords. Each person keeps their own password. The account cannot be used without that password. Also, MyChart uses the latest 128-bit SSL encryption technology with no caching to automatically encrypt your session with MyChart. Unlike e-mail, all MyChart messaging is done while you are logged in.

MyChart is owned and controlled by MyChart. It fully meets federal and state laws with your privacy. Your name and email will be treated with the same safety as your health records. It will never be sold or leased by MyChart.

We aim to protect your records. You will be logged out if your keyboard is not used for 15 minutes or more. Always log out of MyChart when you leave your computer.

No. Your code is not your MyChart ID or password. You will use this code only once to log into MyChart for the first time. When you log in the first time, you will make your own user ID and password.

MyChart has been updated to a newer format that is no longer supported by Microsoft Internet Explorer. Because of this, patients should download Microsoft Edge or use other browsers like Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Apple Safari to access their MyChart account.
