African American father with newborn

Dedicated Advocacy for Dads (DAD) Program

What we do

The DAD Program provides case management to fathers who are expecting or currently have a child or children (between the ages of newborn to five years).

A father advocate will partner with you to create and implement a fatherhood plan, which may include:

  • parenting support
  • education
  • health
  • and other self-sufficiency goals.

The father advocate will support you to meet your goals.

You will have the choice of one-on-one home visiting or participating in parenting group to get help with:

  • Child development education
  • Parent education
  • Educational enrollment/obtainment
  • Job training
  • Connecting to community resources
  • Screening for other needs

Interpreters are available.

Parenting group meets at the Redleaf Center for Family Healing.
