Office-Based Treatment for Opioid Use Disorders - The "Half and Half" Course

The American Academy of Addiction Psychiatry (AAAP) is the Data Sponsor for this activity. Funding for this initiative was made possible (in part) by grant nos. 5U79TI026556-02 and 3U79TI026556-02S1 from SAMHSA.  The views expressed in written conference materials or publications and by speakers and moderators do not necessarily reflect the official policies of the Department of Health and Human Services; nor does mention of trade names, commercial practices, or organizations imply endorsement by the U.S. Government.

You have signed up for this as a specific track within the Buprenorphine Boot Camp. This face-to-face portion of your waiver training is only a portion of the requirement in order to complete your waiver training. After you complete your “Half” of the training, AAAP staff will provide you with a link to complete the other “Half” as an online self-study.  Once you finish both halves AAAP will provide you with their certificate of completion and further instructions.

To access the live and online slides ahead of or after the lecture, please go to this link: PDF PCSS Half and Half All Slides

Please note that NPs/PAs can take the 8-hour waiver training and it will count towards their waiver application.  The additional 16 hours of training is available on PCSS at no cost: https://pcssnow.org/education-training/mat-training/

Also note that while residents can take the waiver training, they will not be able to apply until they have a personal DEA number and an unrestricted medical license.
