Commitment to Patient-Centered Care
“I am committed to providing high-quality patient care. Caring for my patients involves taking the whole person into account. Body, mind, and spirit are all cared for with deep regard to heal from the inside out.”
Growing up as a dancer, Angie quickly became intrigued not only by the body’s amazing ability to heal but also its ability to speak to us when it needs healing. She considers herself a lifelong student and practitioner of many somatic practices, spending much of her time and gain of knowledge in Yoga, meditation, and Pilates, to mention a few. Following her evolving passion for integrative health care, Angie earned her Master of Oriental Medicine degree from Northwestern Health Sciences University and secured an advanced study internship at The First Teaching Hospital of Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Tianjin, China in 2012. Angie also applied her command of integrative therapies at the University of Minnesota Fairview Hospital in the post-surgical and cancer units. Angie continues to deepen her understanding of the body and its miraculous connection to the spirit and elements that keep it in balance with itself and with nature.
