Clinical Expertise
Dr. Abel practices neuro-ophthalmology and comprehensive ophthalmology. She specializes in disorders of the optic nerves and visual pathways as well as oculomotor nerve palsies and pupillary disorders. In addition to neuro-ophthalmic consults, she has a busy comprehensive practice, specializing in cataract surgery, noninvasive glaucoma treatment, and routine eye exams.
Her special interests include idiopathic intracranial hypertension, ischemic optic neuropathy, optic neuritis, unexplained vision loss, and giant cell arteritis.
