Clinical Expertise

Bethany is a nurse practitioner with a special interest in underserved populations. Her undergraduate education was completed at Duke University, and she then spent time working as a grassroots organizer in Minneapolis. Later she worked as a Peace Corps Volunteer and Malaria Technical Officer in Madagascar. Bethany received her Master of Public Health and Health Disparities & Health Inequalities Certificate from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. She received her Master of Science in Nursing and HIV Primary Care Certificate from the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing. While in Baltimore, she worked as a community health nurse with older adults experiencing housing instability.
