Commitment to Patient-Centered Care
“I enjoy partnering with women in their healthcare and I recognize each patient’s wisdom around their bodies, health, and wellbeing. I consider it a privilege to join women in their care across their lifespans.”
Cara worked as a nurse in the community health setting and as a sexual assault nurse examiner prior to earning a Masters of Science in Nursing from Frontier Nursing University and becoming certified as a nurse-midwife. Cara enjoys working with people from culturally diverse backgrounds and has a special interest in working with people who have high barriers to receiving health care. Additional special practice interests include water birth and supporting women attempting a vaginal birth after cesarean.

“In my free time I am an avid reader of all genres and publications and also enjoy the amazing restaurant scene here in the Twin Cities. My favorite activity of all time is traveling with my family and a group of lifelong college friends.”
