Demi received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Child Psychology from the University of Minnesota. She also minored in Spanish Studies and Sociology of Law, Criminology, and Deviance, which stemmed from her passion of diversity and social justice. She earned her Masters of Science degree from St. Cloud State University in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program and completed her internship at HCMC in the Day Treatment Program. During her internship she found her passion for working with people who experience psychosis, mood disorders, and personality disorders. Her past experience includes working primarily in inpatient settings with all ages. Demi is currently a Mental Health Associate, working towards full licensure of Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor.
