Commitment to Patient-Centered Care

“People with mental illness often face barriers to receiving high quality medical care and are at higher risk for medical complications. I believe all people deserve high quality, compassionate medical care, tailored to their individual needs, despite the barriers they may face. I enjoy using my skill and experience as a primary care physician to connect and partner with patients who are admitted to inpatient psychiatry and advocate for them to receive the best quality of medical care while they are in the hospital and after they leave.”

Clinical Expertise

Dr. Hazen has expertise in providing medical care for patients with psychiatric illness. Prior to his current position, Dr. Hazen was a community primary care doctor for ten years.
