Clinical Expertise

Dr. Bachour has been the Director of Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory and Interventional Cardiology of Hennepin Healthcare since 2002. He is particularly interested in expediting Acute MI care and has pioneered the door-to-balloon program that decreases the time to open blocked arteries resulting in a heart attack. This procedure allowed patients to be treated significantly faster than the national benchmark. Dr. Bachour has extensive experience in treating patients with complex coronary artery diseases and peripheral arterial diseases.
