Dr. Chatterton is a senior clinical psychologist in the Adult Psychiatry Clinic and also conducts assessments in the Neuropsychology Department. Dr. Chatterton received her PhD in psychology from the University of North Texas. She completed her predoctoral internship and postdoctoral fellowship at the Instiute of Living in Hartford, CT. Dr. Chatterton’s approach to therapy is attachment-based and she integrates strategies such as mindfulness, mentalization, and education to augment therapy. She believes in the importance of the therapeutic relationship as a foundation for change. Dr. Chatterton is a generalist in adult psychology with special interests in treatment of trauma, mind-body approaches, and psychological assessment.
