Clinical Expertise
Liza is a Pediatric and Adult Geriatric nurse practitioner who specializes in the care of families with a special focus on weight management and bariatric surgery. She has advanced degrees in social work, Spanish, and Nursing. She has worked at Hennepin Healthcare as a nurse since 2000 and obtained her Nurse Practitioner certifications in 2013 and 2015 from St. Catherine University. Prior to her nursing experience, Liza worked as a social worker and a Spanish interpreter with immigrant populations and underserved communities.
