Natalie is a Physician Assistant who cares for people of all ages in the Family Medicine Department at the Golden Valley Clinic. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology at the University of Minnesota and her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies at Augsburg University. She received her Obesity Management Primary Care Certificate from the American Academy of Physician Assistants in 2022. She attended Harvard University of Medical School’s Blackburn Course in Obesity Medicine in 2017. She is an active member of the Obesity Medicine Association. She is in the process of receiving a Certificate of Advanced Education for NPs and PAs from the Obesity Medicine Association.
Natalie founded a weight management program at the Golden Valley Clinic called The Great Slim Down in 2015 which has now expanded to multiple sites. This program provides individualized counseling to people interested in managing their weight using the standard treatment guidelines for obesity: nutrition, physical activity, behavior change and medications. Her treatments goals are to prevent chronic disease caused by increased body weight and improve quality of life. She is open to new patients.
In her free time, she enjoys reading, gardening, traveling and spending time outside with her family during all the beautiful seasons in Minnesota.
