Dr. Walden’s clinical training and experience has focused primarily on evidence-based treatments for individuals experiencing emotional and behavioral problems. He has been trained in cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and interpersonal psychotherapy. Dr. Walden received his PhD in clinical psychology from the University of Minnesota in 2005. He completed a predoctoral internship and clinical fellowship at Hennepin Healthcare, after which he worked as a clinical psychologist here for two years. He then worked with veterans at the Minneapolis VA for eight years. He returned to Hennepin Healthcare in 2016. His current role is Chief Psychologist.
