EMS Trauma & Critical Care Education Series

The EMS Trauma & Critical Care Education Series (EMS-TRA-CCS) is a monthly web-based education series provided by EMS Education, Trauma & Critical Care Services at Hennepin Healthcare for pre-hospital providers.

Purpose

Improve patient outcomes by disseminating the latest trends in trauma, emergency and critical care to pre-hospital healthcare providers across the state and region.

Date/Time

The webinars will be live on the 1st Wednesday of the month from 7:30 am - 8:30 am in RL.110 at Hennepin Healthcare. Live webcasts or archived webinars will be available at 8 weeks after the presentation for viewing, including FREE contact hours. Stay tuned for access to these archived seminars.

to have the series sent to your email address on a monthly basis and/or attend the live presentation. Please include your name, mailing address, EMS affiliation or organizational affiliation (if applicable) and email address. This will ensure receipt of your CEUs.

 

Contact Hours

This curriculum meets the guidelines put forth by the DOT; National Registry of EMT’s and state EMS regulatory agencies for 1 hour of continuing education credit. This curriculum has been evaluated and approved by the Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) Board for continuing education credit for peace officers. Certificates will be sent upon completion and receipt of each session evaluation and post-test.

Paramedic Program

Providing medical support to the community, sporting events, and venues.

Courses provide instructional skills for front-line patrol personnel and field investigators.
