Rheumatology

Rheumatic diseases are challenging diseases which can be difficult to diagnose and can be extremely restrictive, affecting one’s daily life. At Hennepin Healthcare, we are committed to providing compassionate care to all patients who suffer from rheumatic conditions. Our focus is on keeping your joints, muscles, and bones healthy to regain your independence and continue doing the activities you enjoy the most.

Services

In the Division of Rheumatology, we are working to gain new insights and knowledge about the causes – as well as ways to prevent and treat – a broad spectrum of rheumatologic diseases.

We are passionate about ongoing research that continually yields important new scientific data.  We are committed to finding ways to provide the best possible care through the use of therapeutic options that are currently available.  Just as importantly, we learn each day from our most important teachers of all; our patients.

Our goals are to access today’s most advanced medical approaches and provide the best physician training, with a focus on providing individualized and compassionate patient care.

This comprehensive, yet focused approach, partnered with our belief in the importance of patient-centered care is at the core of our mission.

At the end of the day, this approach creates a very positive impact – both in the way that our physicians practice medicine, as well as in the lives of our patients and their families.
