Join Hennepin Healthcare's TBI Center at various events throughout the month of March to increase awareness of brain injury and to recognize those affected by brain injuries.

TRA-CCS: TBI Concussion Discussion

Available on demand after March 20, 2019

Developmental Optometrist Dr. Amy Chang and Rehabilitation Specialist Dr. Min Jeong Park Graf will be sharing their expertise on visual difficulties with TBI as part of the TRA-CCS (Trauma & Critical Care Education Series). Participants can watch this webinar live or view it online (online link valid for six months). Contact hours are provided for one month after for viewers that complete the post test and speaker evaluation. To register, contact [email protected].

Educational workshop on brain injury resources and support held jointly with the Minnesota Brain Injury Alliance. Join our Trauma Prevention Program to purchase bike helmets for the whole family. Helmets are $15 and a variety of sizes and designs are available. Proceeds benefit Hennepin Healthcare patients.

 

Identifying TBI After a Head Injury

Join us for a talk by Emergency Medicine provider, Dr. Ashley Strobel and Dr. Min Jeong Park Graf, Medical Director of the TBI Outpatient Program. The topic will be identifying mild TBI at the source and in the ED, as well as mild TBI management including factors that make this challenging. Light refreshments will be provided.
