60 years ago, Hennepin Healthcare's Kidney Transplant Program performed the first kidney transplant in the Midwest! On Saturday, February 11 donors, families and our Hennepin Healthcare team joined to celebrate the Kidney Transplant Program. It was a time of laughter,  tears new introductions and reunions.
