Clinical Expertise
Dr. Rock is board-certified in Infectious Diseases and cares for patients in the hospital and in the clinic who have general infectious diseases problems. He also is the Medical Director of the Hennepin County Public Health Clinic and a Civil Surgeon who cares for patients with active and inactive tuberculosis, as well as refugees and immigrants needing infectious diseases screening. He is also the State Tuberculosis Consultant for the Minnesota Department of Health. He was involved in training future infectious diseases doctors as the Director for the Infectious Diseases Fellowship program at the University of Minnesota for 10 years. He has a special interest in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of tuberculosis, immigrant and refugee health, and antimicrobial stewardship.
