Healing Touch
Healing touch is a gentle form of energy work that uses light, intentional touch to bring balance and well-being to body, mind, and spirit. By assisting the body in fostering a coherent and balanced energy field, healing touch helps create the ideal conditions for the body to activate its innate ability to heal itself. Studies have shown promising associations between healing touch and reduced anxiety, stress, depression, nausea, and pain. Healing touch is similar to Reiki and other forms of energy healing.
We have a network of providers trained in healing touch and other energy systems, including nursing, acupuncture, physical therapy, spiritual care, and occupational therapy.

Healing Touch Training Level 1
- Dates: Friday, June 9, and Saturday, June 10
- Time: 8:30 am-6 pm on both days.
- Location: Hennepin Healthcare, Lower-Level Classroom (the old Connection Center), Ramp L.120.
- Cost: Standard price is $225 + $40 for the required textbook for Hennepin Healthcare employees (Certificates of Attendance CEUs available)

- Instructor: Lynn LeMere, RN, BSN, CHTP/I has been a nurse for over 30 years and is currently working at TRIA Orthopedic Center. She has worked in a variety of hospital settings including Neurology, Cardiology, ICU, and Peri-Op. She has worked in Home Hospice and as an RN Care Coordinator. Many professional and personal experiences lead her to take healing touch classes. Lynn has studied many types of energy medicine and healing. Healing Touch fit in perfectly with all the self-care and holistic health care that she learned in nursing school at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee and restored her passion for nursing. Her strong desire to share her passion for healing touch motivated her to become an instructor.
Healing Touch Training Level 2

- Instructor: Carol Schoenecker, RN, BSN, HNC-BC, CHTP/CHTI, is a provider of healing touch and spiritual direction in private practice in St. Paul. She is a Certified Healing Touch Instructor, Certified Holistic Nurse and member of AHNA, co-founder, and member of the Minnesota Holistic Nurses Association, and a charter member of Healing Touch International. Carol has worked as a nurse for over 48 years in the areas of obstetrics, geriatrics, home health care, and mental health. She also worked as a midwife for 3 ½ years in Kenya, East Africa.
