Commitment to Patient-Centered Care

“I am passionate about providing patient centered care with each person I work with by making time to listen. I feel that listening well and asking follow-up questions allows my patients to feel heard and valued.

I also believe that my primary role as a physical therapist is to provide education about the symptoms which someone maybe having and to do so in plane language so it can be clearly understood.

I find that when there is understanding of how the body is supposed to move and function, then it is easier for someone to take control of and manage their impairments to achieve their individual goals for therapy.”
