Clinical Expertise

Dr. Wiik is the psychology manager for Neuropsychology and the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Clinic. She also manages the corresponding inpatient consultation/liaison teams for both services. Dr. Wiik is trained as a pediatric neuropsychologist and joined HCMC in 2012. She provides outpatient evaluations and inpatient consultations for pediatric, adolescent and young adult patients with a range of medical, neurological, genetic, and/or neurodevelopmental concerns, acquired brain injuries, and coexisting emotional or behavioral difficulties. She is an active team member of the HCMC Pediatric Brain Injury Program, as well as the HCMC Traumatic Brain Injury Outpatient Program. In addition to providing patient care, she is a member of the HCMC Psychology Training Program faculty and supervises interns and fellows in outpatient psychological and neuropsychological assessment. Dr. Wiik completed her doctoral training (Ph.D.) in Child Psychology and Clinical Psychology at the University of Minnesota. She completed her internship training (Pediatric Neuropsychology/Child & Adolescent Psychiatry rotations) and her two-year postdoctoral fellowship in Pediatric Neuropsychology through the University of Minnesota Medical School and Masonic Children’s Hospital.
