Already have a MyChart account? Sign-in and request an e-visit.

An e-visit offers direct, clinical care with providers through your MyChart account. E-visits are a safe way to receive personal care in a convenient way, for your non-urgent medical conditions. In most cases, they can replace an office visit or even an urgent care visit.

For patients under 18 years of age, we encourage you to contact your provider for alternative methods of care, such as a video visit or scheduled telephone visit.

MyChart e-visits are available for common medical concerns, such as:

  • Cold/flu-like symptoms
  • Stuffy/runny nose
  • Seasonal allergies
  • Sore throat
  • Coughing
  • Sinus congestion
  • Ear pain
  • Red/itchy eyes
  • Heartburn
  • Diarrhea
  • Urinary problems
  • Vaginal yeast infection

Simply sign in to your MyChart account and select e-visit from the menu. You will be asked to complete a quick series of questions related to your symptom history. You can expect a Hennepin Healthcare provider to respond via secure message with a diagnosis and treatment instructions within 1 business day. If medication is prescribed, the prescription order will be sent directly to your preferred pharmacy.

E-visits may be covered by your insurance. We will bill your insurance company first. If they determine the visit to be a non-covered service, you will be responsible for e-visit charges. Charges vary depending on services rendered (usually between $40 - $120). Additional services or screenings could cause the amount to be higher.
