Get with the Guidelines Award

Hennepin Healthcare’s Heart Center has again received the American Heart / American Stroke Association’s (AHA/ASA) Get With The Guidelines® Heart Failure achievement award. The Heart Center is also qualified to be recognized as a recipient of the AHA/ASA’s Target: Type 2 Diabetes Honor Roll Award.

The Heart Failure Gold Plus award is a step up from last year’s Gold award and demonstrates additional measurements to ensuring patients receive the best care.

This year, the Heart Center was also awarded for its work in diabetes in heart failure patients for its dedicated response to evidence-based therapies for its diabetic patients.

This award will be recognized on a national level. The award ensures our Heart Center receives:

• Recognition in AHA’s US News and World Report Recognition Ad that appears in the “Best Hospitals” edition
• Recognition ceremony at AHA/ASA’s Scientific Sessions
• Recognition on the AHA/ASA website
