Clinical Expertise
Dr. Becker is board-certified in Internal Medicine and has experience treating a broad range of medical problems. As a hospitalist, Dr. Becker takes care of patients while they are in the hospital and works to ensure appropriate follow-up and a smooth transition back to the outpatient setting as they recover. Dr. Becker received her undergraduate degree from Macalester College and worked in public health in the U.S. and abroad prior to completing medical school at the University of Wisconsin. She completed an internal medicine residency at Hennepin Healthcare and served as Chief Resident for one year prior to becoming a full-time Hospitalist. Dr. Becker also has special interests in medical education, physician and trainee wellness, and faculty development.
