“As a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist, I am committed to getting to know the little unique parts that make patients who they are and finding unique solutions to fit each patient’s needs with a focus in mindfulness/relaxation, art, wellness, and various other leisure-based therapies. My goal is to listen to patients every concern, interpret their feelings and give them healthy outlets to express these emotions.”
Clinical Expertise
Jae graduated from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse with a Bachelor’s of Science degree. From there they interned on Knapp Rehabilitation unit and fell in love with the population. Her professional experience has been a mixture of inpatient rehabilitation and senior living homes specializing in memory care. Jae currently facilitates Therapeutic Recreation programming in both inpatient rehabilitation on Knapp Rehabilitation unit and outpatient rehabilitation through the TBI Center.
