Clinical Expertise

Kari has 25 years of Physical Therapy experience. She first became interested in PT while playing college tennis at Northwestern University in the 1990s. She spent the past 18 years at a local outpatient orthopedic center and is now honored to be part of Hennepin Healthcare. She enjoys treating a variety of patients, from the young athlete, all the way up to the geriatric patient with a knee replacement. Kari’s focus is to restore whole body function, as well as the painful joint. She utilizes manual skills as well as patient education to optimize outcomes. Kari finds joy in helping to improve her patients’ quality of life by reducing pain, restoring function, and creating a personal patient-physical therapist relationship.
