Dr. Schut is board-certified in internal medicine and infectious diseases. He sees patients in the hospital and clinic who have complex infectious disease concerns. He has particular expertise in the management of HIV infection, and working with a multidisciplinary team, strives to help patients attain and maintain long-term good health.

“I am originally from the Twin Cities, and greatly enjoy the many cultural and outdoor activities available in Minnesota. In particular, I enjoy the classical music and theater scene in the Twin Cities. Hiking along the North Shore and canoeing the Boundary Waters. Skiing anywhere there is snow and a slope. And finally traveling with my family to distant points to embrace art and history.”
