Commitment to Patient-Centered Care

“I believe that delivering the highest quality health care for any and all people is the service I am most committed to in my position as a physician. Quality is largely defined by individual values, beliefs and world view and partnering with patients to learn and understand what constitutes high quality care in their eyes. This is a process that makes the care we provide rewarding and, more importantly, of the highest quality possible.”

Clinical Expertise

While Dr. Kinzie has experience in ambulatory and hospital medicine, he focuses on primary ambulatory internal medicine. He has a varied practice with involvement in several clinics including the preoperative medicine clinic, Adult Gender and Sexual Health Clinic, and Direct Care Clinic. He also spends several weeks a year attending resident and medical student teams taking care of patients admitted to the hospital.

Personal

“I was raised in Oklahoma but am happy to call Minnesota my home now as my wife, Sarah, and I pursue our medical careers here. We love the active culture of the Twin Cities. I am an avid music fan, somewhat of a musician myself, lover of weightlifting and fitness and happy to get out on the numerous trails around the lakes in the Twin Cities. However, the best times are quiet mornings with the ones I love and a lot of coffee.”
