Clinical Expertise

Dr. Amrami received his doctoral education and PhD at St. John’s University in Queens NY. He completed his internship and post-doctoral fellow training in Hennepin Healthcare, in which he gained specialized training in psychological treatment and intervention for children and adolescents. Dr. Amrami is developing his expertise in treating a variety of mental health concerns, particularly treating youth with traumatic stress, obsessions/compulsions, specific phobias (fears), and parent-child therapy for children with ADHD. He is trained in various therapy models, including CBT, Exposure and Response Prevention, trauma-focused CBT, and Parent Management Training.
