Yoga is a mind/body/spirit discipline with its roots in Ancient India. The word yoga translates from Sanskrit as “Union” and can be thought of as a means of connecting us to our deepest selves, our community, the planet, and our spiritual lives (in whatever form that takes for you!). While most people think of yoga as a series of stretches or physical postures, the full practice of yoga also includes lifestyle, breathing practices, and meditation. When applied to health and wellbeing, there are countless ways that this ancient practice can help us reconnect and heal our mind, body, and spirit.
