Working at Hennepin Healthcare
Hennepin Healthcare is a nationally recognized center for patient care, teaching, and research.
At the heart of our medical center is our main campus in downtown Minneapolis, which includes a 462-bed acute care hospital, primary and specialty clinics. Our downtown campus is also home to Minnesota’s largest Emergency Department, where we provide care for the most critical patients as a Level I Adult Trauma Center and Level I Pediatric Trauma Center.
Growing Network of Community Clinics
More than a trauma hospital, we are bringing our expertise and services to people outside the downtown area. We operate an expanding system of primary care, specialty, and retail clinics located in neighborhoods across the county.
Academic Medical Center
HennepinHealthcare is proud to be one of the nation’s premier health care training institutions. We have trained tens of thousands of medical professionals, helping ensure the future of health care in the Twin Cities and beyond.
Repeatedly named one of America’s Best Hospitals by U.S. News & World Report, Hennepin Healthcare was one of the earliest users of electronic health record technology, and continue to invest in our facilities and equipment. We continue to upgrade our critical care facilities, including state-of-the-art surgical and medical intensive care units, a burn center, and a center for hyperbaric oxygen and wound healing.
Patient and Family-Centered Care
State-of-the-art facilities and technology are extremely important in health care today, however, what is most important to the people who work at Hennepin Healthcare is the commitment to our patients and families.
