Commitment to Patient-Centered Care

“Caring for children in my community is truly my passion. For the last 15 years, I have made it my priority to form partnerships with my patients and their families in which compassionate, holistic, evidence-based care leads to the patient maintaining optimal health and wellness. I strive to address every aspect of my patient’s needs by taking the time needed to listen. I am also committed to health equity and took the initiative to co-chair the pediatric department health equity workgroup. This experience allowed me to move beyond the acknowledgment of disparities and towards understanding the root cause of both negative and positive health outcomes.”
