Commitment to Patient-Centered Care

“As a medication therapy management pharmacist, I have the opportunity to work with both HIV/AIDS patients and infectious disease providers every day. For patients, my role often includes coordinating medications, assessing appropriateness, safety, and efficacy of those drugs, and helping improve adherence or manage side effects. For providers, I am a resource for drug information questions and management of complex medication issues for our patients. In addition, I work with patients living with Hepatitis C.”

Clinical Expertise

George’s practice areas of interest include HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis C, infectious disease, internal medicine, and transitions of care. George received his Doctorate of Pharmacy degree at the University of Minnesota–Twin Cities. He completed a PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at HCMC.
