Commitment to Patient-Centered Care

“As an MTM pharmacist at HHS, I have the opportunity to provide care to patients in our Rheumatology Clinic. My role often includes coordinating medications, assessing the appropriateness, safety, and efficacy of those drugs, and helping improve adherence or manage side effects. For providers, I am a resource for drug information questions and management of complex medication issues for our patients. In addition, I have worked with our Gastroenterology and Liver Clinic to help expand pharmacist access for patients living with Hepatitis C and within our Positive Care Clinic, delivering care to patients living with HIV/AIDS.”
