“My idea of being patient centered means caring for the whole person. As a practitioner I want to gain patient trust and understanding with personal relationships, collaborative communication, and knowledge of what is important to the patient. I strive for optimal patient outcomes.”
Roxanne received a BA in Health Promotion from the University of St. Thomas, a BSN from St. Catherine University, and a MBA from Concordia University. She worked at the University of Minnesota as the Core Charge Nurse in OB, and implemented multiple best practice initiatives including “The Power Hour! – Beyond Baby Friendly” which she presented at the 2015 AWHONN Conference. She is currently the Clinical Care Supervisor of Lactation Services and Childbirth Education at Hennepin County Medical Center.
