Anticoagulation Clinic

The Anticoagulation Clinic provides safe and effective management of short-term and long-term warfarin therapy for the prevention and treatment of thrombosis. The clinic provides patient education, including diet information and information about drug interactions associated with treatment.

Warfarin treatment is provided by knowledgeable and well-trained registered nurses and pharmacists working with a physician. Blood tests are performed on-site and the dose of warfarin is adjusted the same day. All care is reported to and coordinated with the patient’s primary care physician.
