Walk with a Doc

Walk with a Doc is a walking program for everyone interested in taking steps for a healthier lifestyle. You’ll take a few minutes to learn about a current health topic from a healthcare provider, then spend the rest of the hour enjoying a healthy walk and a fun conversation. It’s a great way to get out, get active, and enjoy all the benefits that come from walking.

Walk at your own pace and distance. Our walking groups are a safe, fun, and FREE place to get some steps, learn about health, and meet new friends. These walks are also a great way to enjoy the beauty of the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden or the Minneapolis Institute of Art. If the weather is >=30 degrees, we walk at the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden and if it is < 30 degrees or actively raining, we walk indoors at the Minneapolis Institute of Art. We’ll explore not just how good a walk with friends can feel, but also the wonder and healing power of experiencing great art. These walks are held monthly on Sundays at 10am.

Everyone is welcome!
