We’re here to safely care for you and your family

Thank you for trusting us with your care. We take this responsibility very seriously and want you to be aware of all the steps we’re taking to keep our patients, staff, and communities safe. We can assure you that Hennepin Healthcare is among the safest places to receive your care.

Here’s what we are doing to make things safer for you:

  • Limiting visitors to our clinics and hospital
  • Screening all people who enter our buildings for COVID-19 symptoms
  • Requiring face masks for all patients, visitors, and staff
  • Providing access to hand cleanser, tissues and face coverings for our patients
  • Using gloves, masks and eye protection to ensure your safety
  • Arranging waiting areas for safe social distancing
  • Cleaning and disinfecting patient waiting areas frequently
  • Cleaning exam rooms and equipment after every patient
  • Utilizing video visits and phone visits when appropriate instead of in-person appointments

Your safety. Our priority.

We pledge to continue to make your safety our number one priority. Please don’t put off any serious or life-threatening health needs due to fears of getting COVID-19. If your appointment or procedure was delayed due to the pandemic, we likely already reached out to you to reschedule. If you haven’t heard from us, please call 612-873-6963, or access our Make an Appointment page.

Upon your next visit, please expect several safety precautions for when you come in for your appointment, such as:

  • You’ll be asked health-related questions at our doors
  • You’ll be required to wear a mask or face covering before entering (if you don’t have one, we will provide one to you)
  • You’ll be directed to keep a safe social distance from others

We continue to encourage people to use video visits or e-visits when appropriate, to minimize the need for in-person visits. If you are still unsure or uncomfortable about scheduling an in-person appointment, please try requesting a video visit, and receive our quality care from virtually anywhere.

This virus is still in our communities, and it is still contagious. For important information about coronavirus, please visit our COVID-19 information page.

Thank you for putting your trust and your care in our hands. With your help, we will continue to keep our facilities and our communities safe. We’ve missed you, and we’re here to safely meet your health care needs whenever they arise.

Please seek emergency care if needed

Our emergency department is open and will remain open. If you have a medical emergency, please don’t hesitate to call 911 or go to your nearest emergency department.
