East Lake Clinic

Hennepin Healthcare’s East Lake Clinic is a primary care clinic located near the intersection of East Lake Street and Minnehaha Avenue in Minneapolis. Our entrance is on 27th Avenue, just north of Lake Street. Many of our patients live and work in South Minneapolis, Richfield, and the south metro.

The East Lake Clinic is closed until further notice.  We’ve relocated our East Lake Clinic providers and staff to Whittier Clinic where you can see them for a visit. Appointments have been rescheduled in the Whittier Clinic.

The Hennepin Healthcare Foundation welcomes in-kind and financial donations to support the displaced patients of East Lake Clinic during this time of transition. While the area gets rebuilt, donations will assist with food and basic hygiene supplies, transportation to Whitter clinic, and expanded home healthcare services.

Hospital-based care

This is a hospital-based clinic owned by Hennepin Healthcare. Many insurance plans pay for health care services provided in a hospital-based clinic differently than those provided in a doctor’s office. Your insurance may require that you meet your annual deductible and/or require that you pay a percentage of the bill rather than just an office visit co-payment. You should check with your insurance company if you have any questions. Read the Frequently asked questions about hospital-based clinics to learn more.
