These exclusive events offer insight into the daily efforts of our region's largest Level 1 Trauma Center and healthcare safety net. This inaugural series of three events will focus on Medical Education, Trauma Care, and Integrative Medicine. All events are free to attend and will include hands-on activities and insights from industry leaders.
Saturday, April 27, 2024: First Responders. Care before the Door
Discover the investment in equipment and training for our emergency medical services team (EMS). The busiest EMS fleet in Minnesota deploys professionals across 266 square miles and 14 cities offering lifesaving interventions before entering the doors of our Level 1 Trauma Center. Join us to learn more what a day in a life is all about.

Saturday, September 28: Integrative Health. Care for the Whole Person
Learn about the true meaning of Integrative Health as it relates to revolutionizing the healthcare system to embrace whole person, whole community, and whole planetary wellbeing. Gather for an immersive experience, learning how food, movement, relaxation practices, and culturally-inspired complementary and integrative health modalities can have a profound impact on personal and population health.
Bring your questions and curiosity to learn more about whole-person, customized care and well-being for everyone. Come comfortably dressed to move and engage during the quality time with our Integrative Health Team. After the group welcome and a centering exercise - we will break up into small groups to move through 3 stations: culinary, movement, and acupuncture (ear seeds). Short chair massage sessions will also be available.
