Dr. Kaefer graduated from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine and completed her residency training at the Lawrence Family Medicine Residency in Lawrence, Massachusetts in 2002. She subsequently worked for four years at the University of Minnesota and at a variety of community clinics in the Twin Cities and Oakland, CA.
