Quality and Safety
Hennepin Healthcare is committed to providing patients with the highest quality care in the safest and most effective way possible. Continued focus on creating systems and a culture that support both quality and safety are critical to transforming care throughout our system.
In 2022, the areas we are focusing on are:
- Reducing length of stay
- Decreasing readmissions to the hospital
- Minimizing staff injuries
- Improving preventive care and chronic disease management rates
Patient satisfaction is an important quality measure in regards to the care and services that patients receive. Hennepin Healthcare is dedicated to providing access and excellence in patient services, resulting in high levels of patient and family satisfaction. We will continue to partner with our patients and families in order to best understand and meet their individual care needs.
We continually gauge our performance through patient satisfaction surveys, which help us continually enhance and improve the patient and family experience.
Patient Representatives provide resources for patients and visitors who have questions or concerns about hospital and clinic services. You can contact one of our patient representatives from 8a – 4:30p, Monday through Friday by calling 612-872-8585, or via email at [email protected].
